Mizpah

Sunday School Class

Mizpah, in Hebrew means "watchtower". 

The Mizpah class which was established in 1954 meets each week in Fellowship Hall of FUMC.  The average attendance is 60 of primarily older adults but all ages are welcome.

This class is not only involved in many church functions but also in many activities throughout the Independence community including serving a meal the 3rd Friday of the month at Crossroad Shelter of Salvation Army.

Mizpah class gathers for weekly study as well as has three to four socials a year.
