We believe in community.  Over and over, the Bible speaks to the need for friends, family, shared experiences and shared love.  We offer several Sunday School classes, small groups and opportunities for folks just to enjoy each others company.  No matter your age or gender, past regrets or current interests, we have  a group of people like you- waiting to connect.  Let us introduce you around.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…”     Heb 10:24-25

 We regularly have fellowship dinners, seasonal events, special fun evenings, picnics etc.  Look at the calendar for upcoming opportunities or read our most recent newsletter at the “Follow Us” button on the homepage.

If your an active senior interested in daytrips, game nights and great food you’ll want to ask about our Sunsetters group!  If you’re a young adult ask about our Young Adult Fellowship.  If you’re a teen or parent of a teen…get connected to our active youth group.

 We also try to maintain fellowship with the universal body of Christ by regularly joining with our friends from the other uptown Independence churches for worship and fellowship.  It’s become our habit to worship with each other on  Christmas Sunday, World Communion Sunday and several times during Lent.  We also partner for summer Vacation Bible School.
