We feel a special call to be in ministry with and to kids at Independence First!  We offer many opportunities for our youngest visitors to learn about God’s love in a safe, clean, colorful environment.

We offer Children’s Church at 9AM each Sunday and age appropriate Sunday School classes at 10:10AM.  A bright and professionally staffed nursery is available for both services and is absolutely free of charge.

Looking for a loving, Christ centered learning environment for your preschooler throughout the week?  Check out our wonderful Starshine preschool which has been introducing kids and families to Jesus for over 25 years!  “Ms. Kim” Oyler is our director.  Reach her through the church office at 816.254.6900.

We try to send every one of our kids to summer church camp free…ask us how it works.
